They are strong believers in the importance of user experience as a distinguishing factor of products today. Their product is Advocado, an e-commerce plugin, which can be found presently on the Shopify App Store. Our customer based is growing quickly and can mainly be found in the U.S. and Europe. We are in search of a frontend engineer who has worked on User Interface/Experience · We hope to start off with a paid project to better allow both the candidate and ourselves to evaluate working styles before confirmation of long-term employment · We are looking for experience and know-how in the following technologies: o HTML5 o CSS3 (particularly Sass) o Javascript · Experience with the following would be ideal but is not required: o Distributed version control (git) o Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop o Balsamiq/Omnigraffle etc. o Grunt/Bower o JSUnit/Jasmine o Twitter Bootstrap/Zurb Foundation o Facebook Developer tools/Twitter APIs · Other areas: o Avid user of social media, e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest o E-commerce website development o Believer in learning quickly from the customer via strong customer service practices o Unafraid to voice opinions and suggest improvements o Reads widely and passionate about technology and startups in general o Strong communicator with good working command of English (since the candidate will be expected to work remotely) |
