We are looking for a Senior Interaction Designer who is passionate about interaction, graphic design and understand the importance of mobile applications. You will be working on the interface for a new version of an existing successful online application and will work closely together with the development team. You should be fluent -- artfully and technically -- in today’s interaction design fields, from content design and social interaction to mobile interaction.

What you will do
  • Create designs to visually communicate data and user interaction, including navigation structures, wireframes and prototypes
  • Create UI experiences for mobile devices and desktops
  • Translate discussions into designs and layouts
  • Lead design from idea to product
  • Contribute as a collaborative team member to spec the next features of the applications
  • Use pattern libraries to standardize interactions between web and mobile applications
  • Create UI and design guidelines
  • Support other graphic and branding related design work

What you need
  • BS or higher in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Information Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction or related discipline
  • 3+ years of relevant interaction design experience
  • Experience with web design standards and responsive design
  • Experience with mobile app design and mobile web
  • Proven track record of playing a role in the user interaction design of products, sites and/or applications
  • Be proficient in Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Office, Balsmiq Mockups
  • Experience with mobile & social applications
  • Fluency in English and Chinese preferred
  • And most of all, be passionate about beautiful software designs and innovation, with an affinity to social networks and online sharing
Nice to have
  • Preferably have programming experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP
  • Experience with cloud-based solutions (SaaS) is a plus

This is a full-time, permanent position in Taipei, Taiwan.
Work-permit for foreigners can be arranged.
