You’d be expected to take lead on design and implementation of our web services that support our data and trading platform and a social network in our mobile products. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Development and design experience with scripting languages such as Python, PHP and shell scripts and experience with Google App Engine (GAE) Experience with filesystems, server architectures, and distributed systems High performance computing: in-memory database, cloud computing, caching optimization techniques, cluster management, etc Technical design considerations to achieve robustness in high performance social applications Usage of Source Control Systems particularly git Familiarity with Linux platform Experience in the use of Agile development methodologies and techniques ESSENTIAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES Self-motivated and enthusiastic Love of coding and delivering elegant solutions in a timely manner Proven fast-learner & must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines Good written and verbal communication skills (Both English and Chinese) Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative fashion Great mentor to junior and mid level engineers

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
