工作內容/職務描述* Responsibility:
- Researching DASH, HLS and future adaptive streaming specifications, and then provide education on these techniques.
- Building pipeline for DASH/HLS packaging on the cloud platform.
- Quantifying playback performance metrics of adaptive streaming.
- Optimizing the generated .mpd and .m3u8 manifest files for performance issues.
- Investigating DRM for video streaming.
- Partnering with internal teams to troubleshoot problem adaptive streaming.

* Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant multimedia software development experience.
- Knowledge of multimedia technologies, including container, codec and/or subtitle formats.
- Experience with open-source packaging tools such as FFmpeg and GPAC.
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Plus: 
- Knowledge of adaptive streaming techniques, including DASH and HLS.
- Experience with Linux is highly desirable.
- Experience with high-level scripts, like Python, Ruby or Perl, for automated processing flow.
- Experience with visualization tools to represent statistics.
