  • 3+ years of experience managing a team of technical writers
  • 5+ years of technical writer and project management experience
  • Proven career development and performance assessment skills for members of your team
  • Proven track record of proposing and executing global strategy for a technical writing team
  • Thorough understanding of writing processes and best practices for agile and non-agile product development
  • Proven track record of improving processes, standards, and toolsets on a global team
  • Excellent grasp of structured authoring and DITA XML - Strong knowledge of user centered design practices
  • Experience working with cross functional teams (Support, Marketing, R&D)
  • Experience working with localization teams and knowledge of localization best practices - Strong project and stakeholder management skills
