We're looking to grow our community team at Xiaomi Global. If you have a passion for people and technology, as well as a desire to join one of the best marketing teams in the world, we'd love to have a chat with you. The Xiaomi Global Community Manager develops, guides and manages communities by “befriending with Mi fans,” attracting and encouraging conversation about Mi products. Xiaomi community brings together Mi fans and Xiaomi employees in a multi-channel environment, both online and offline, and encourage open feedback and participation across all communities. Responsibilities: • Increase community participation by driving sign-ups, interacting and responding to user comments, managing contents, including official announcements, and planning activities to connect and grow Mi fans via online and offline channels • Develop and post interactive content that encourages participation and the development of member-generated content to ensure that the community is achieving its objectives • Local speak, make sure you understand forum lingo of popular local forums, and will be able to ad a local flare to the communication if needed. • Must enjoy immersing yourself in the online world of forums. • Lead the day-to-day operations in conjunction with internal functions, to manage the online website community. • Monitor and moderate community participation to ensure that rules of engagement are adhered to • Provide tracking and metrics to communicate and validate interaction Qualifications: • Being a Mi fan is a must! • Native Chinese speaker, fluent in spoken and written English • Bachelor degree in top-tier university in a Marketing or Communications-related field • 3+ of experience working as a social media expert, ideally with some international experience • Overwhelming passion for Xiaomi, Mi products, social networking and collaboration technologies • Entrepreneurial spirit, not a "corporate person" and very outgoing, likeable, presentable, humble and naturally capable of easily interacting with others • Quirky personality • Extremely creative and witty demonstrable via own social media presence • Specific experience identifying and utilizing appropriate content streams: transcripts, articles, surveys, web seminars, podcasts, wikis, blogs, etc. • Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to work cross-functionally and in teams • A self-starter with the willingness, and desire, to "roll up your sleeves" and get the job done |
