Job Description:
Responsible for DSL and Ethernet Router/Gateway SW development including:
1. Integration of various interface drivers and subsystem deliverables into a BSP
2. Development and integration of Linux OS, ATM and IP stacks/protocols as well as application software
3. Definition and project management of embedded system software
4. Working closely with the different project leaders internally to reach the committed project milestones
5. Analysis of software system issues including debugging
Requirements:
1. Should have a MS degree in the field of Computer science, EE or related fields
2. Know-how of communication & networking system software development
3. Understanding of IP/Ethernet, ATM/DSL, USB, WLAN, switch and application level software
4. Familiar with Linux OS and other RTOS on SOC embedded platform programming skills
5. Deep know how of problem solving and low level debugging
6. >8 years of relevant work experience in software/system development and integration, real time operating systems, embedded SW programming in particular in the areas of BSP/switch/DSL/WLAN/ATM driver development on Linux 2.4 & 2.6 kernel
7. Relevant know how of processes for professional system and software development flows to ensure a full software life cycle including its delivery mechanisms
