Job Title: Database Report Writer
Position Summary
An experienced Database Report Writer with both analytical and heavy SQL – PL/SQL writing skills. The Database Report Writer is responsible for providing reporting services from the Information Services group to the client’s organization. Position will also be responsible for leading efforts to build ad-hoc reports. In addition, this position will provide hands on technical support and will be heavily involved in data analysis, requirements, and building of reports and cubes with our enterprise BI tools
Job Responsibilities
Develop ad-hoc queries, reports and cubes as required.
Work closely with all departments to outline and scope reporting layouts and requirements.
Education & Experience
4-year technical degree or equivalent
4 -5 Years practical experience in analysis/design, ad hoc report and sub report development
4 -5 years developing reporting solutions using reporting tools.
Ability to read ERD diagrams for all company databases, including data dictionaries.
Visual Studio .net 2008 - Good knowledge of application dev and web reports using Crystal Report.
Some database design skills is a plus
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
3-5 years PL/SQL experience.
Experience with a reporting tools/ business intelligence tools (i.e. Proficiency in Crystal Report Writer, C#, Business Objects).
Experience with Microsoft WPF and WCF is a plus
Attention to detail and strong interpersonal, communication, training, and organizational skills required, as is the ability to work effectively in a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Salary: Open (13 months fixed)
