職務說明：
Candidate will be responsible for the performance tuning and benchmarking of IBM System x server products. The candidate will work with product planning and marketing team to establish measurable performance goals which meet market requirements. The candidate will design and implement workloads reflecting various usage patterns, then request measurements, performance analysis and tuning to ensure that the product\'s performance goals are met. The candidate will work closely with hardware and firmware development team on design and implementation enhancements and make tuning recommendations to improve overall system performance. Candidate will participate in customer support and special bids as required. The candidate will need to setup and maintain performance lab infrastructure as required. This position requires solid, proven programming and performance analysis skill on x86-based systems. Knowledgeable of Server system architecture, general compute server performance, understands performance objectives and workloads, is required.
Required
Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
Knowledge in Server and OS architecture
Knowledge in performance objectives and workloads
Knowledge in C/C++ or Java programming
Familiar with the Linux OS
Fluent English communication skills (both written and spoken)
Preferred
Master\'s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
Knowledge/experience in server performance benchmarks
Knowledge/experience on x86 hardware performance optimization
Knowledge/experience on software performance optimization, such as C/C++ optimization flags, Java performance optimization is a plus.
Knowledge of Parallel Computing, High Performance Computing, GPGPU, Virtualization and Power Optimization is a plus.
