| 工作內容/職務描述 | HTC is looking to hire a Category Manager for Music and Video to support the global rollout of www.HTCSense.com and the daily operation of HTC Hub. The role will be responsible for designing the global category strategy and leading the execution worldwide to strengthen HTC’s unique position in the Music and Video category. Daily responsibilities include: 1) Working with product management team to brainstorm, design category offer model, and provide business requirements; 2) Defining global category strategy and implement strategy by creating content merchandising and promotion plan; 3) Monitoring competition’s development in the category through working with country teams and define counter action accordingly; 4) Developing in-depth understanding of category usage trends and user behavior patterns in order to make strategy and merchandising plan adjustment quickly; 5) Driving category impressions, click-through, trials, subscriptions, and downloads to meet company’s goals; 6) Sourcing category content partners and negotiating business deals on a global or regional level to support category strategy. 7) Managing category content publishing process via publishing tools to ensure 100% content accuracy and localization for regions that are not covered by any country teams. The successful candidate will need to have in-depth understanding of new web applications and how application integration to Smartphone is done. The candidate must have excellent English and communication skills to influence the country teams to deliver the best in class user experience. This position will report directly to Head of Content & Editorial in the Connected Services team. - BA/BS with 8 to 10 years of web marketing experience with a worldwide leading e-commerce or portal brand. MBA in Marketing preferred. - Solid understanding of store development and operation process, from design to build and from build to profit. - In-depth, practical, and up-to-date industry knowledge, people network, and passion for Music/Video industry. - Proven expertise and user community relevance in Music/Video through published articles, blog posts, etc. - Attention to details, self-motivated, and result oriented. - Excellent project and budget management skills. - Experience working in a cross-cultural and cross-functional environment. - 100% fluency required in both English and Chinese. Additional foreign language will be a plus. - Excellent communications and business negotiation skills. - Ability to multi task, deliver under tight timeline. - Smartphone lover. Passion for new technology. - Smartphone industry experience will be a strong plus. - Experience in managing design agency and outsourced vendors. |
