Job Requirements
  • Create responsive modern front­-end user experiences for web and mobile
  • Work with graphic designers bringing ideas to life
  • Collaborate with developers on highly interactive web applications
  • Iterate on designs in lean startup fashion
  • Have an opportunity to be creative and technical on a daily basis
Must Have
  • Fluency in standards-compliant, cross-browser, multi-device HTML/CSS
  • Fluency in modern object-oriented JavaScript and JS frameworks
  • Fluency in responsive, fluid layout and mobile device optimization
  • Experience with CSS pre-processors (LESS/SASS)
  • Experience integrating with dynamic backends (especially Rails)
  • A good sense of design and an eye for the details
  • A positive attitude and love working with a team
  • A passion for fast-paced environments and working independently with little oversight
  • (and you agree that Han most definitely shot first)
It is a PLUS!
  • jQuery, coffeescript
  • Ruby/ERB, ActiveRecord, Rails
  • DVCS (especially Git)
  • Mixin libraries (Bourbon/Compass)
  • Task runners (Grunt/CodeKit)
  • Amazon EC2, Heroku, Openstack experience
  • Object Oriented Programming experience
  • Agile (Scrum) project experience
  • Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, other design software experience
  • SEO and/or CDN experience
