Database Analyst x 2
The main purpose of this position is to store and maintain organization’s database and assist in analysing, evaluating, designing and encoding database systems. Also includes data modelling and database support and maintenance.
1. Monitors databases and ensures they are running accordingly; performs system back-ups, troubleshooting and identify and log problems.
2. Works with the project team for configuration of hardware and software to perform installations, testing, upgrades, and optimization of data storage, capacity planning and database growth.
3. Designs and creates databases and related database objects.
4. Monitors data application programs and inspects on any changes made on the systems.
5. Creates and specifies user access level for each segment of one of more data items such as insert, replace, retrieve and delete; sets which users can access databases and what data can be accessed by the user
6. Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems and questions with database related programs.
7. Tests, corrects errors and refines changes to database.
8. Creates functions, stored procedures and other packages.
9. PL SQL, Oracle, Oracle RAC Performance tuning.
Salary: 40k~100k (13 months fixed)
