| 工作內容/職務描述 | We are currently recruiting for an intern to write an iPhone and Android ingredient reader app. Working with our team here at Beauterama, you will be principally responsible for the technological side of creating the app. You will be part of our paid internship programme, and will be expected to work a minimum of three days a week, or up to five.
The purpose of the app will be to provide a simple and practical means of searching for information on common cosmetic ingredients. The function of the app will be to enable users to take a photo of a list of ingredients on a bottle or container, use an OCR programme to turn the photo into editable text, match the ingredients with our database, and display our descriptions of each ingredient. Write the app software, including the OCR (optical character recognition) function (can use open-source), the UI (user interface), and any other software needed to make the app function as we want it to; 2. Work with the app development team to make the app reliable, attractive and easy to use; 3. Prepare modifications to the app structure and design as needed. Requirements Professional working proficiency in English. Demonstrated previous experience and/or skills in app development. Proficient in C/C++, Java and HTML programming. Pursuing or possessing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science. Ideally, pursuing or possessing a Masters’ degree or above. Ideally, previous experience and/or skills in OCR programming.
