With dual offices in Taipei, Taiwan, and the San Francisco Bay Area, we are a rapidly growing (17 mil+ users, all organic), award-winning cross-platform mobile and web startup that is revolutionizing educational technology for kids globally using the power of data. What You Will Be Doing · Driving all global efforts to evolve strategic product vision into a category defining user experience · Develop/prioritize feature specifications and drive product development in a highly matrixed team · Ceaselessly iterate on product, project, and release management until all pain points fade away For each of the above items, you will be working closely with the Product Lead, UI/UX Designer, marketing, business development, customer support and engineering teams to ensure all aspects of the front end user experience create “moments of delight” with the child and their parents. You will also periodically present to and gather feedback from senior executives. What You Need for this Position · 4+ years experience in mobile/online product role in either consumer-focused technology company or previous startup experience in social networking, engineering/software development background highly desirable · Be very data driven in defining and analyzing key metrics, optimizing to inform product decisions · Have proven track record with planning, scoping, QA, releasing and maintaining lifecycle of successful mobile applications (iOS and Android) · Have at least a functional understanding of software development – previous background as a software developer highly desirable · Experience with a variety of project management tools and applying them toward aggressive deadlines · Be extremely detailed and persistent in driving towards project deadlines—not shy in following up with all required team members on each issue as appropriate · Strong English skills needed-- reading, writing, and speaking; Mandarin Chinese highly desirable · Some understanding of Ruby on Rails, HTML5, SQL, Android/iOS architecture a plus but not required · BS or MS degree in technical or analytical field · Possess a “startup” mentality (previous startup experience a plus) Have a “do whatever it takes” mentality Be comfortable in a fast-moving, test-and-learn, data-driven environment Excellent communication skills -- able to communicate with senior management and across cultures Collaborative approach, Self-initiative, Integrity, Passion, and Maturity Time Required: Position is permanent hire Must be willing to be flexible in working hours—in order to have maximum overlap with team spread across the planet What's In It For You · The opportunity to make a difference – professionally -- and to help how kids learn in today’s complex digital world Competitive salary and excellent benefits

What You Will Be Doing ·

What You Need for this Position ·
