| 工作內容/職務描述 |
The Devops engineer will be responsible for the overall day to day operations of managing our cloud collaboration service, MyZyXEL.com, including monitoring, incident resolution, problem management, configuration and change management, deployment (automation), security management and monitoring, capacity planning, availability management, and routine update of services. This person will be involved in developing processes to deploy applications, assist in technical standards development, assist in architecture development, help define key metrics and indicators to monitor system health, etc.
Role & Responsibilities
•Effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software of MyZyXEL.com & ZSDN
•Participate in our Service Product Dept. on the build of major software releases for various types of services
•Application development
•Automation of deployment and monitoring tasks
•Dealing with and triaging support queries escalated by customers •Develops tools, scripts, or processes as appropriate (Drive improvements into the product based on ease of trouble-shooting, monitoring, etc )
Requirements
• Experience of working in large deployment environments and running cloud operations at scale
• Strong scripting and coding skills
• Experience with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
• Experience with AWS or other virtualization technologies
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; experience in analyzing and managing large amounts of data
• Prior involvement in delivering customer support or in providing operations is a PLUS
• Prior employment within a web hosting, internet service provider or Software as a Service company is a PLUS+
• Strong communications skills to all management levels
Skills
• Requires B.S. Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• At least 3+ years of exposure to open source Java, PHP, MySQL as the preferred development platforms
• Programming skills of - Unix/Linux/Ubuntu - Be string in TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, security, storage, SQL databases - AWS - Ruby - Nice to be familiar with Java or C/C++
