Network Security Engineer (1 position) - refer to attachment
CCNP/CCIE etc.
Primary focus on networking (CISCO/F5/A10/Juniper)
Secondary focus is security and system (Firewall/Vmware/Microsoft)
Job Purpose
To design, implement, manage and review the regional network infrastructure based on business requirements to ensure a secured, resilient and continuous availability of IT services
Job Responsibilities
Perform network/security administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance to ensure optimal and effective uptime of Customer Infrastructure/Online Services
Develop and document standard operating procedures for network infrastructure
Constantly analyze, review and maintain the security baseline by performing risk and vulnerability assessments to ensure balance between the availability if resources and the requirement of sufficient security measures for effective protection of our intellectual property and business continuity
Enforcing and ensuring the network and security infrastructure are following the predefined standards
Additional Responsibilities
Provide support to Taipei system infrastructure (Co-located Servers in IDC)
Provide support for customer infrastructure
Education & Experience
Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science or Engineering
CCNP/CISSP/CCIE certified
Min 5 years of related work experience in network security
Experience in design and administration of Routing and Switching (Cisco, Juniper, A10, F5, Checkpoint products)
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Network devices skills and experience in LAN, WAN
Security devices skills and experience in firewall, host based IPS, Anti Virus.
Relevant High Availability, Load balancing and BCP knowledge
Equipped with hands-on experience and knowledge in firewall/layer-2 or layer-3 switch/router
Good to have knowledge in Windows 2003 Infrastructure and Vmware
Must be able to work in a team, work independently with limited supervision and is also able to work under pressure
Must be proactive, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
Good Communication and Interpersonal skills
